There is one application window each academic year:

Online applications open Aug. 15, 2024, and close Sept. 6, 2024.

Applicants must be finance majors (double majors are fine) and must have, at a minimum:

  • Sophomore or junior level standing, defined as at least 3 semesters remaining until graduation and not currently in the first or second semester of college enrollment
  • At least 6 graded credit hours at University of Texas at Dallas or another accredited four-year academic institution
  • A minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher

Satisfaction of minimum requirements does not guarantee admission into the program.

Select applicants will be chosen for in-person interviews, which will determine final acceptance.

Student applicants selected for consideration will interview with the PPF Director in early September of each academic year.

Membership selection will be completed and announced by late September.

To remain in good standing and graduate with the Professional Program in Finance designation, PPF members must:

  • Complete a PPF-specific course on financial modeling and valuation, including producing a working 3-statement financial model and five-year forecast
  • Have one internship every calendar year
  • Participate in at least one competition each year
  • Maintain a cumulative 3.5 GPA or higher
