Amber Rao, MBA Real Estate Concentration Testimonials
After 10 years of work experience, I decided to take the GMAT and pursue an MBA. I evaluated my options for an Executive MBA program at UTD and other institutions, but ultimately decided to pursue the Professional Flex MBA program at UTD for the value and flexibility it provided. Business travel was a part of my career, so the flexibility to take one online course and one in person course per semester allowed me to fit the MBA into my life. Another advantage of the Professional Flex MBA program is that it allowed me to specialize in two concentrations; Finance and Real Estate, in comparison to the Executive MBA program which is more of a general focus.

The quality of the education I received at UTD was top notch and I greatly enjoyed my four Real Estate electives. Despite having the CCIM designation and work experience, there were countless things that I learned from the program and it expanded my breadth of knowledge in commercial real estate. All of the real estate professors at UTD are practitioners in addition to being academics and they brought a significant amount of experience to the table.

I would highly recommend UTD to students contemplating an MBA while working full time. The ROI you get from the program relative to the cost is unmatched by other programs in the Dallas area.

Like many of the other students, I sought out UT Dallas for my MBA due to its reputation, it being close to home and having flexible programs. In doing so, I also wanted to make sure I stretched outside of what I had done as an undergrad by diving into topics I found more interesting and useful. The Real Estate Program at UTD was definitely one of the best ways to do this  Read More
