How to Apply to the MS in FTEC Cohort Program
The Master of Science in Financial Technology and Analytics (MS in FTEC) program has a cohort structure, where you will start your degree, take all your courses and graduate with the same group of peers at the same time. Due to the cohort format, there is one application deadline each year. Please carefully review the instructions below and start your application!

- May 1
- Application submitted after May 1 requires department approval
Important Application Instructions
Application Materials Include:
- GMAT or GRE exam report (GMAT Program Code: ZTZ-PQ-40, GRE School Code: R6897)
- TOEFL exam report
- Résumé
- Transcripts, degree certificates and diplomas
- Two letters of recommendation
- Personal Statement
- Supplemental documents – professional designation, certification, award, and etc.
Steps in the Application Process:
- Click “Apply to MS FTEC” button
- Create a user name and password
- Click on “Application for Admission”
- Choose “Naveen Jindal School of Management” for Program School
- For “Applying for Program”: choose MS in Financial Technology and Analytics
- Complete Application
What are the Admission Requirements?
- Average GMAT: 600+
- Average GRE: 310+
- Average TOFEL: 90+
- Average GPA: 3.0
- Program prerequisite course work:
- Linear Algebra
- Calculus (including multivariate calculus)
- Probability/Statistics
- A basic course in computer science or programming
Students pursuing the MS in FTEC degree are required to have completed the prerequisite course work prior to starting the program.
