Hey, everyone. My name is Moiz Shad, and I’m a graduate student here at The University of Texas at Dallas in finance.
As part of my degree, one of the electives that I took was energy economics. We got to see different CEOs and CFOs Wall Street pitch. We got to see their whole process.
My experience in energy economics class
Next week, I’m graduating from The University of Texas at Dallas. As part of my degree, one of the electives that I took was energy economics. During this class, we got to see different CEOs and CFOs pitch their ideas that they have pitched directly to Wall Street. We got to see their whole process. It was.. this class was a great benefit; it added value to my degree.
I also had the opportunity to attend an international oil and gas gathering called the NAPE — North American Prospect Expo — Convention in Houston, twice. And I was fortunate to participate in the very first NAPE Energy Innovation Case Competition; this was a nice learning experience.
My recommendation
So, if you hear of The University of Texas at Dallas, or are thinking about coming to the school, I would definitely recommend taking one of the electives in the energy economics field. Thank you.
